Participating in another National project of great importance gave to Transdata the pleasure to run the assembly of the first Brazilian wind turbine model.

The operation included the transport, internal handling, lifting and electromechanical assembly of the wind turbine, which has towers made of concrete and height of 120 meters.

Sergipe's First Wind FarmPublished in: 15/01/2018

The project success is strongly connected to its logistics. About a year of planning preceeded the operation. Method statements were established to overland / internal haulage, erection and electromechanical assembling procedures, and to enable the reception of the overweight / dimension pieces through the offshore port of Barra dos Coqueiros. This port is linked to shore by a 2,6km long narrow bridge.

Moving the two 18.20 x 25.60 meters - 861 metric tons mooring buoy from the State of Espírito Santos towards the State of Rio de Janeiro required a maximum safety operational procedure according Transdata’s engineering studies, which ensured the performance of port internal haulage through SPMT’s, barge mooring, load out, sea transportation, load in and unloading.
