New Gas Facility in Curitiba

Unloading directly from ship, port handling, overland haulage and lifting / positioning onto base.

Highlight:
The new gas plant received equipment responsible for the oxygen, nitrogen and argon production. These gases are used in several industrial and hospital procedures.

The over dimensioned equipment rendered their haulage more complex. The main piece with 40.27 x 4.40 x 3.80 meters and 123 tonnes called the population's attention while travelling the roads of the city.

Extreme field research is required to enable exceeding weight and dimension cargo crossing. The entire route is travelled previously to check for interferences and restrictions, measures of bridges and low wiring. Further more, there are plenty of engineering plans to be followed: as loading and unloading, ground bearing conditions, overland haulage and rigging.
