Removal / Internal haulage of Harbor Cranes and Bulk Grain Ship Loaders inside Rio de Janeiro Port (RJ).

Highlight:
Rio de Janeiro Port is one of the most active ports of Latin America, it has 6,740-meter quay and 883-meter pier. About 67% of Brazilian's GDP is concentrated within 500-km radius.

Conceive projects aiming at functional improvements to increase port operations is its administration XXI century's challenge.

Internally, in order to release access to the pier for berthing of vessels which support  petrol plataforms, Transdata carefully perfomed the removal and internal haulage of 02 Bulk Grain Ship Loaders and 03 Harbor Cranes through 800 meters, between the pier and the storage area, with self-propelled modular trailers.

Self-propelled modular trailers (SPMT) is a latest generation equipment, steered through remote control, thus, prime movers are no longer needed. Besides, it has greater axis rotation resulting in better performance in turns.
